What would AI actually cost your business?
AI companies charge by the "token", which tells most people nothing. Pick the jobs you'd hand off and see the monthly bill, what it buys, and what the same work costs by hand.
A token is about three-quarters of a word.
AI reads and writes in small chunks of text called tokens. Type anything below and watch it get chopped up. You pay a little for every token it reads, and a bit more for every token it writes.
How the AI sees it (each colour is one token, roughly)
Reading a whole novel costs about a quarter.
Some everyday things, measured in tokens, with what it costs an AI to read each one once on an everyday model. The bars use a stretched scale so the small things stay visible.

Each estimate includes the extra reading AI does behind the scenes: your price list, past emails, the calendar. Set how often each job happens in a month. Zero turns it off.

Prices are list prices per million tokens in October 2026: light model $0.10 to read and $0.50 to write; everyday $2 and $10; most capable $4 and $20. Token sizes use the common rule of about 1.33 tokens per English word (OpenAI; iternal.ai Token Usage Guide 2026). Per-job estimates include typical agent overhead (system instructions, tool calls and context) and assume no caching discount. Hand-work times are our estimates for a small business.
